I wrote this book for one person. I just didn’t know who she was until she told me.

Apr 17, 2026

Her name is “Dronning.” She is 26 years old. She lives in West Africa. She had just graduated, still looking for her first role, doing everything at once, learning data analytics, volunteering for NGOs, applying for jobs, always feeling behind, going to bed feeling behind, waking up already behind, unable to remember the last time she sat down and did nothing without her mind telling her she was wasting time.

She read the book thinking it was for senior women in boardrooms.

And then she came across the word compassion.

Something stopped.

She told me she had never once sat down to appreciate the efforts she put in. Never applauded herself for showing up every day. And reading that chapter, she remembered why she was doing any of it in the first place. The vision she had almost lost under the weight of everything she was trying to become.

By the end of our conversation she said something I will not forget.

“It really changed my life. Should have met me before.”

I said to her, if you are the only person who ever says that, the book was written for you. Period. My hope is done.

I wrote a book for one person.

Her name is “Dronning.”
